Inburgering KNM exam practice Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij · A2 & B1

KNM tests whether you know how daily life in the Netherlands works: health care, work, housing, school, money and the government. You answer multiple-choice questions on a computer, often with a photo or short situation.

What the exam looks like

  • Multiple-choice questions on a computer
  • Short everyday situations, often with a picture
  • Questions and answers are in Dutch
  • Topics: health, work, housing, school, money, government

Exact length and pass marks can change. Always check your own DUO letter or inburgeren.nl.

3 traps that catch many candidates

1

Huisarts first

For most health problems you call your GP (huisarts) first — not the hospital. Only call 112 in an emergency.

2

Who decides what

The municipality (gemeente), the province and the national government each have their own tasks. DUO likes to mix them up.

3

Rules about school

Children must go to school from a certain age. Know who you contact when your child is ill or absent.

How InburgeringPass prepares you

  • Practise per situation: health, work, housing, school
  • Read why every wrong answer is wrong
